How A Jehovah Witness X User Dies After Rejecting Blood Transfusion
An X user, Mensah Omolola popularly known as Auntie Esther, has reportedly died after rejecting a medically advised blood transfusion.
The 38-year-old and Lagos based Jehovah Witness adherent and cancer patient was receiving treatment at the Lakeshore Cancer Centre, Lagos, before declining blood transfusion on religious grounds.
Auntie Esther’s suicidal death was announced Saturday on X on by Obi-Dickson, who facilitated a donation campaign for her treatment, alongside another supporter, Aunty Muse.

The x user who is now deceased rejected blood transfusion after Nigerians donated up to #30 Million for her treatment. This was following a public outcry on social media to rally support for her.
Reacting to her death, a vocal Nigerian Humanist, Amypassion took to her Facebook page and cautioned Nigerian faithfuls to stop letting toxic indoctrination like that of Jehovah’s Witnesses lead them to doom.
Also reacting to the incident, Nigerian Human Rights Lawyer and Humanist, Ikechukwu Obasi Esq urges the government to treat death as a result of rejection of blood transfusion on religious grounds as suicide, and attempting to do so as an attempted suicide.
