Nigerian humanist and women’s rights advocate Felicia Omolola Akindurodoye has put down a heart touching tribute to actor Alex Ekubo following heartbreaking reports of his death, describing him as someone with “a high sense of humour” who made his mark before turning 40.

In a post on her official Facebook handle, Akindurodoye said she felt sad on hearing the news but was quickly reminded of her impression of Ekubo.

“When I think of Alexx Ekubo, I remember someone with a high sense of humour. Cheers to making a mark in life (being a known figure) within 40 years,” she wrote.

She further added that while she hopes for more medical advancements to improve survival chances, “as long as you were not killed and life expectancy is 50+ in Nigeria, all I can say is rest well Alex while the living continues to introspect on their own existence.”

“Rest well Alex. Cheers to the mark and the part you played on earth,” Akindurodoye concluded.

The Facebook post is currently circulating online alongside other tributes from public figures and users.
