Actor Yul Edochie Knock ADC Says Obi’s Presidency Not Possible, Alliance Dead on Arrival

Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has dismissed Peter Obi’s political moves, boasting that any party Obi joins “will scatter” and that “Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.”

In a controversial and widely circulated post on his official X handle, Edochie wrote: “Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter. Whatever he’s doing with ADC is dead on arrival. A total waste of time. It’s not a physical problem. It’s deeper than that. I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already. Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it. But the truth remains the truth. Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.”

He described Obi’s activities with the African Democratic Congress as “dead on arrival” and “a total waste of time,” noting the issue is “not a physical problem” but “deeper than that.

Edochie added: “I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already. Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it. But the truth remains the truth.”

The comments were made amid reports of Obi’s consultations with opposition parties ahead of 2027. There was no response from Peter Obi or the ADC at press time.
